Just make sure you have everything closed and not have iTunes open. It may ask you to restart so try it and like always this help me out and I hope it does help you out. Please be safe.

Step 1: Go to the Start button and then go to run.

Step 1 on Getting iTunes to work

Step 2: Type in "cmd" without the qoutations.

*NOTE: If you are running Windows Vista, 7 or 8 you will need to run CMD as administrator

Step 3 on getting iTunes to work

Step 3: Type this "ipconfig /flushdns" without the qoutations. Then press enter.

*NOTE: If you are running Windows Vista, 7 or 8 you will need to run CMD as administrator

Step 3 on getting iTunes to work

Step 4: Type this "netsh winsock reset".  Then press enter.

*NOTE: If you are running Windows Vista, 7 or 8 you will need to run CMD as administrator

Step 4 on getting iTunes to work

It will ask you to restart your computer so do that and after everything is up and running open iTunes and go to iTunes Store and see if displays the latest downloads. Also try to backup your iPhone and see if it does a full backup before syncing.

Let me know if this works for you and I really hope it help you since it was a beast when I lost everything on my phone don't want it to happen to yours.

Steve jobs Dies at 56

(CNN) -- Steve Jobs, the visionary who led a mobile computer revolution with the creation of wildly popular devices such as the iPhone, was mourned Thursday by admirers and competitors as much of the world awoke to news of his death.
Jobs' death was announced Wednesday by Apple, the Silicon Valley company he co-founded with Steve Wozniak. He was 56.
"Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being," Apple said in a statement on its website.
"Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor."

(Apple) -- Steve Jobs is the Chairman of the Board of Apple, which he co-founded in 1976. Apple is leading the consumer technology world with its revolutionary iPhone and App Store, its family of iPod media players and iTunes media store, and its Mac computers and iLife and iWork application suites. Apple recently introduced iPad 2 which is defining the future of mobile media and computing devices.

Steve also co-founded and was the CEO of Pixar Animation Studios, which created some of the most successful and beloved animated films of all time including Toy Story, A Bug’s Life, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Cars and Ratatouille. Pixar merged with The Walt Disney Company in 2006 and Steve now serves on Disney's board of directors.

Steve grew up in the apricot orchards which later became known as Silicon Valley, and still lives there with his family.

Today Apple confirmed that Steve Jobs has passed away. He was 56.

Jobs, who co-founded Apple with Steve Wozniak, lost his battle with pancreatic cancer.

This news comes just days before October 14, which Apple fan boys recently declared as "Steve Jobs Day." The holiday was created to honor Jobs and his revolutionary contributions to technology.

Jobs' family released a statement revealing that he "died peacefully today surrounded by his family." The statement went on to say, "In his public life, Steve was known as a visionary; in his private life, he cherished his family. We are thankful to the many people who have shared their wishes and prayers during the last year of Steve's illness; a website will be provided for those who wish to offer tributes and memories.

We are grateful for the support and kindness of those who share our feelings for Steve. We know many of you will mourn with us, and we ask that you respect our privacy during our time of grief."

Apple is collecting condolences at rememberingsteve@apple.com. The company has also posted a picture of their former CEO on the homepage of their website and released a public statement, which can be seen after clicking on Jobs' picture: "Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an aspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple."

In a statement to the Wall Street Journal, Job's long-time rival Bill Gates gave these condolences: "The world rarely sees someone who has had the profound impact Steve has had, the effects of which will be felt for many generations to come. For those of us lucky enough to get to work with him, it's been an insanely great honor. I will miss Steve immensely."

(-LeiNad-) -- He did change the world and his passion was all about giving the world something new and allow everyone to use a device that is very easy to use that’s powerful. The only thing I own is an Iphone but without it I wouldn’t be able to do my job away from the office if I do not have my laptop. Everything you need is in that phone and all apps are easy to download and most are not that expensive. Every product that apple comes out with revolutionize the industry for the better and that is what initiates the skills of other competitors to create something just like what apple came out with. It’s like if apple thinks of it we must follow since it sells and it’s creative. I know life is short and what he did was for the better and even though he was rich you cannot but life but you sure can help others make their life a little easier. That’s Steve Jobs and rest in peace.
